Examples of how Awayzing Travel contributes to Sustainable Travel...

Get in touch

Connecting with the locals, seeing how they live, and hopefully learning from each other, is such an important part of any trip.

We only plan activities and encounters where we can be sure that it benefits both - you as a traveler and the local community.

Leave nature untouched

All of our safaris in Africa are designed with the animals and nature in mind.

We meet the animals in their natural habitat and want to protect it and educate our customers about threats and hazarads.

Wherever we go, we leave nothing but footprints.

Offer slow experiences

Slow experiences are for example hiking trips and cycling tours.

As a traveler, this allows you to get in touch with your surrounding much better and with all your senses. And of course, not using a car or other motor vehicle, keeps the environment undisturbed.

Maji Moto Eco Camp

Our Kenya safari partner has built his own eco camp. This is managed and maintained by the Masai. Not only will you stay in a low-resource camp, but you will also learn a lot of interesting things about life in and with nature.

"At Maji Moto Eco Camp we employ only the local people from the village!

The camp is completely eco-built by using only sustainable material

from the surrounding environment.

Two times a year we do renovations where round 50 local women come for work.

Furthermore we support local school with all sort of donations but when we get some more funds we build extra class-room, water tank, improvement of the kitchen and similar.

Last year we had enough funds to pay school meals for the full school of 200 kids!!!"
